Target Audience
Experienced and novice users of DxDesigner that wish to learn effective and efficient design definition using the new features found in DxDesigner.

Course Description (2 day course)
Using Mentor’s DxDesigner subset of the ePD tool suite, students attending this class will learn:

Project management with Dashboard
Schematic capture methods with DxDesigner
Effective usage of the new Project Navigator Tree
Effective usage of the new Attribute Editor
Symbol creation with DxDesigner and Symbol Wizard
Netlisting for PCB layout systems with ViewPCB
Part selection using the newly integrated DxDatabook
Revision control using DxDatamanager
Powerful time-saving features, utilities, and methods

Through lectures and labs, students will learn to use ePD tools to efficiently create schematics, libraries and netlists.
